Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

We collect only what’s needed to run the platform:

• Account details: full name, email, phone number, role, and your institution.
• Learning activity: which courses/videos you’re enrolled in or assigned, watch progress, and completion status.
• Payment records: for institution subscriptions and paid courses, the amount, currency, and status of a payment. Card/payment details themselves are handled directly by Razorpay, our payment processor — we never see or store your card number.
• Basic technical data: sign-in timestamps and, for administrators, an audit trail of account-management actions within their institution.

We do not currently collect date of birth or ask you to verify your age. If you are accessing Kaksham through an Institution, that Institution is responsible for authorizing your account and obtaining any parent/guardian consent required by law before creating it.

2. How we use it

• To operate your account, show you the right courses, and track your progress.
• To process institution subscription payments and course payments.
• To send account-related emails (welcome/onboarding, password reset codes).
• To keep your institution’s data separate and secure from every other institution on the platform.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. Who can see your data

Within your own institution, teachers and administrators can see the account and progress data needed to teach and administer their students. Data is never visible to, or shared with, other institutions on Kaksham. We use trusted service providers to operate the platform — our database/hosting providers, Bunny.net for video delivery, and Razorpay for payments — solely to provide the service, under their own security and privacy commitments.

4. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If your Institution removes your account, associated personal data is deleted; some records (such as payment history) may be retained where we’re legally required to keep financial records.

5. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data by contacting us at support@influrion.com, or by asking your institution’s administrator, who can update or remove your account directly.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures — encrypted connections, hashed passwords, and per-institution data isolation — to protect your data. See our Security page for more detail. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.
